ASSESS: SPSS USERS" GROUP, 21st ANNUAL MEETING

The 21st annual meeting of ASSESS, the SPSS Users' Group, will take place on Friday, 9th November 2007 in the Alcuin Research Resource Centre, University of York, 2 miles from the city centre.
The committee welcomes contributions on SPSS-related topics from all academic and professional fields, particularly describing case studies (especially in marketing and business), surveys, uses in teaching statistics, advanced analyses such as generalized linear models, multivariate procedures and time series forecasting, examples of syntax, handling messy data, graphics and tips on using SPSS procedures. Normally 35 minutes is allowed (including some time for questions). Speakers do not pay the conference fee and may claim expenses. Poster givers cannot claim expenses but do get a reduction on the conference fee. The best poster will get a prize!
The meeting's open to all current users of SPSS and anyone interested in SPSS.

The Department of Health Sciences is in the Seebohm Rowntree Building on York University campus located in Heslington, 2 miles to the south-east of the city centre.
